Who says Singapore dont have nice scenery?

Singapore also got nice scenery wad... Albeit man-made but still nice right?

Last night, while walking along the Esplanade Waterfront, i've captured some shots of the beautiful skyline. They were doing rehearsals for the NYE celebration.

Huimin taught me what emo pix are... Below are some examples...

Good photography skills eh? haha... Obviously all are taken by me except for the last one. -.-

Girls Night out on Wed

Zouk and Phuture was so crowded even though it was raining that night, we had to go MOS. I'm beginning to detest going Phuture on wednesdays, not because of bad company but simply because it's always too crowded to even dance and have fun. Bouncing would be the word to replace dancing. Girls' nights should be changed to fridays, no?

Blurry pix taken using our phones because nobody brought a camera.

I learnt that curry should not be mixed with alcohol.

I had a drop too much that night and went to eat curry chicken mee the next day for lunch. Somehow, i think the alcohol wasnt fully digested in my stomach, and i puked like a merlion after eating the curry chickie...

Thus resulting in me being unable to join my 477 peeps for Weisheng's Bday Celebration. =(

The bitter taste of alcohol with spices is disgusting!

I must not drink so much next time, i must not drink so much next time, i must not drink so much next time........................................

Hohoho....! I'm back from Taiwan.

2 earthquakes striked Southern Taiwan last night. My silly friends were so worried that i may be trapped in the earthquake zone that they frantically called and msged me for a reply. Dont worry my dears, i was already in the plane 2 hours before the earthquake striked. Thank goodness we only went for 5 days, if not i will probably be trapped at the earthquake zone now. =P

I think we quite lucky that it didnt rain at all for the 5 days that we were there. My cousin who just went Taiwan a few days before us told us that it was raining everyday when he was there. Surprisely it didnt rain a single drop when we arrived at Taiwan.

Though it didnt rain, it was quite cold and i fell sick on the 2nd day. -.- Luckily, i recovered fast enough the next day to still enjoy the good food there. =)

Speaking of sickness, do you know that the Taiwanese's need to pay only NT$150 (= SG$7.50) to see a doctor? The rest of the medical fees are being paid by the government. Be it the old or the young, be it visiting doctors in hospitals or private doctors, be it seeing a doc for fever or heart operation, as long as you can afford to pay NT$150, you can leave the rest to the government!

All Taiwan citizens have got their personal health care card like an ID where all their health histroy are being recorded in the card everytime they visit the doctors. The card actually records the types of medication they took and their illnesses. How cool is that?

All these privileges are being enjoyed by the Taiwanese because Ah Bian wants every Taiwanese to be Jian Jian Kang Kang.

Sad to say, it's better to die than to be terminally sick in Singapore.

Anyway....... unlike the last entry bout my Hong Kong trip, i'm not gonna give a detailed narration bout the trip. I shall let the pictures do the talking...

Taiwan Here I Come!

In about 11 hours time, i'll be on my way to taiwan with my family. Unlike the last Hong Kong trip which thoughtfully planned, this time round i really have no idea what i will be seeing or doing at Taiwan. Well...I shall let the tour guide to do his job.

From what i heard, there's a lot of good food there... Eat, eat, eat.. HOHOHO!

This will be my first time spending my christmas holidays overseas. Hope it will be fun. Before i end off, i would like to wish one of my girlies a very Happy Birthday in advance.

Shuhan, let's celebrate big time after Dean's back ok? =P

And lastly i wish everybody

a Merry, Merry Christmas!!! HOHOHO...

Huimin!!!

If you happened to come across any internet access during your 12 day stay in Fu Jian or your relative's house happens to be high tech enough to have internet access, hope you will see this.

I took up photoshop class recently, but i dozed off most of the time during the class, so i'm slightly worse than an amateur at it. Here's something i made for you.

Woke up frigging early today to go to school for the OCBC securities challenge registration. If KJ hadnt gone for reservist and is unable to go down to register, i wouldnt to bothered to go down. I was quite surprised to see many jc students at the registration booths. And i was even more surprised to find that i'm like the only NBS Acc yr 3 student there.

I registered and received this programe list that goes like this...

900 - registration
930 - arrival of VIPs
10 - speech by XXX
1030 - speech by YYY
11 - speech by ZZZ
1130 - Refreshments for VIPs (never include us ok!)
1140 - blah blah blah...

Upon reading that, i decided that i will stay for the opening ceremony only if i can find someone i know in that hall. So i looked around, and to my greater surprise there was really no one i know! Is KJ and i overly enthusiastic or wad? Nobody in NBS yr 3 participated meh?

OK! So off i went at 930 to suntec city to fix my god damn phone. But alas! My phone is beyond repair. SIGH....

Just as i was complaining to my mum on the phone about my tough luck, something made me very excited.

**************************************************************

Ladies, may i announce....

that THE MANGO SALE IS NOW ON!!!

The bag and trench coat that i fancied is on sale! I have a nice coat to wear to taiwan now. HOHOHO!!!

I know many guys dont understand why typical girls go crazy over Mango Sale, but lemme try to enlighten you guys...

Can you imagine the exhilaration of finding a leather bag that you fancied a few weeks ago that costed $80 to be put on sale at 40% discount?

And can you imagine the excitment of the sudden possibility of being able to afford a white trench coat that you've been eyeing on Ivy Lee's body in some drama serial that was initially priced at an exorbitant rate?

It is the feeling of suddenly being able to afford many things. And the sigh of relief when you managed to resist the urge to buy that leather bag u fancied weeks ago. Yeah, that's what i mean.

Do you guys get it now? Still dont get it?

Nvm... Men just dont get it.

Super Suay x 10000 Day

Woke up this morning at 11am, only to find that i was going to be late for my tuition. As frantic as i was, i immediately washed up and get ready to zoom down to the tuition centre which is at Novena!

Before i left the house, i gobbled down some hard boiled egg and nearly got choked, so i hurriedly grabbed a bottle of water and rushed out. In the lift, i realised that my bag was soaking wet with water.

I looked in only to find my cap of my bottle came loose and water was gushing out into my bag!!! First reaction was, OH SHIT my Ipod Nano is wet!!! Lucky still can function. I took my Ipod Nano and wallet out at once and stuffed it into my pocket.

As i already late for my tuition class, i had no time to empty the water in my bag. I thought i could deal with it later in the cab. With my bag full of water, i ran towards the road only to realise that OH SHIT FORGOT TO TAKE OUT MY HANDPHONE!!!

This time round die already. Handphone cannot be switched on....

URGHHH!!!! I have to waste money on a new phone again!!! Got people as suay as me anot!!!

Went Kushinbo with Iris, KJ and Joleen yesterday. I think there is telepathy between Iris and me. This is the second time that we appear with the same top. I swear it wasnt intentional! Our tops are exactly the same except for the positions of our white belts. Thank goodness i wore jeans while she wore a white skirt. If not it will be uniform already. =_=

Us at Kushinbo with just the desserts left...

Took pics with christmas tree behind us. =)

It was so boring doing surveys alone at Expo today. Singaporeans have this 'Kiasi' tendency, most of them tried to shun me before I could say,"excuse me, do you mind if i........"

".......do a survey with you..?"

Do survey only mah, not asking you to buy things, so scared for wad!?!?!?

*rolls eyes*

So I just went up ahead and asked the questions directly without seeking their consent if they were willing to do the survey. This prevented them from saying 'No'!

But still, most people shun me when they see me walking towards them with a file. Machiam like see ghost. So smiley already still shun! =_=

This survey is kinda lame because before I started doing the survey, I was taught by the person in charge of me to fill in the blanks myself. And I was encouraged to use my imagination.

So after a while, I lost my patience with the uncooperative crowd and decided to heed his advice. =P

Cant blame me for being dishonest when the person-in-charge also dont care right?

Even though the survey lasted for only 3 hours, time seemed to pass very slowly when you are doing the survey alone. Unlike those times at OCBC when nonsensical jokes and laughter made even the super long hours on high heels tolerable.

Finally when the stupid survey assignment ended, I went to join my 477 peeps for pai gu zi char at Tiong Bahru.

I kept complaining about my heavy bag and bugged huahua to carry for me. Very buay zi tong one, keep saying 'the bag where got heavy' and 'very gay to carry your bag'.

Oie, ????????? *Tsk*

In the end, due to my persistent nagging, he finally helped me with my bag. Lol... =D

Lao Da, this is training for your future ok? hahaha....

Anyway the dinner was good. Nice recommendation eh, Stan. Coffee pai gu nice la, but I still like the Tofu the most!

Went to SL's place to see her dog Mocha after dinner. The shihtzu seemed to have grown much fatter. And huahua keep 'bullying' the dog, messing up its fur and hanging it upside down like ???. hahaha.. It was damn funny.

These peeps made my day... Some things never change.... =)
