I am seeking asylum in Lee Wee Nam library now! Two Iranian boys wanted to catch me!!!!
This is what happened.
Stephy and me went to Canteen A for dinner after our GE just now. Actually i was the only one eating. Steph was talking while watching me eat. In the midst of our conversation, the 2 guys sitting beside us interrupted our conversation. They dont look or sound like locals. So we assumed that they are exchange students. They spoke in English that has a weird accent.
Guy A: Hello, sorry to interrupt, me and my friend would like to talk to you.
Us ( Thinking that they wanna know more about NTU or Singapore) : Hi, yes?
Guy B: We would like to make friends with the 2 of you. Are you from Singapore?
Me: oh.. haha.. yah.. we are from Singapore. So where are you guys from?
Guy A: You guess?
Me: er.. i really dont know.. ( Continue to eat my Yong Tau Foo)
Guy B: We're from Iran.
Stephy: HUh?
Guy A: Iran. you know Iran?
Me: Oh.. IRAN.. ok.. ( Continue to eat )
Guy A: oh we find you girls very pretty.
Us: er... oh ok...
Guy B to Stephy: You look like an Arcttresss.
Stephy: huh?
Me (smiling): He said you look like an Actress.
Guy B to Stephy: You know who? Angeelinaa Jooliee
Stephy (looked at me) : Huh? i dont understand? look like who?
Guy B repeated: Angeelina Jooliee
Me (nearly choked on a Tau Foo) : Hahaha... he said Angelina Jolie la!
Stephy: No la.. if i look like angelina jolie the guys after me will queue until there already (points to a stall some distance away)
Steph rolled her eyes at me went on to answer her phone nonchalently.
Guy B (Paiseh, points to my food): So is this a local dish?
Me(still entertaining him) : ya.. can get it from the 2nd stall there.
Stephy put down her phone and looked at me, giving me the "eat faster la" look.
Guy A: So do you girls know of any dance clubs in Singapore?
Stephy: Zouk
Guy B: Oh.. so do you girls like to dance?
Me: Sorry i dont like to dance.
Steph(totally cant be bothered): ya
Guy A: We would like to go to dance clubs and wanna ask you girls to go dance.
Stephy: When you go there got many girls you can dance with.
Me(laughing): haha.. yaya
Guy B: No, we only want to dance with you girls. How about this weekend?
Me: Sorry we have no time...
Guy A: But it's during weekends. Not school days..
Stephy (looking at me): Oie, ??????
Me ( hurried to gobble up my food): okok
Just then i packed my bag and stood up: Sorry i gotta go meet my boyfriend now.
Guy A: Oh you have a boyfriend?
Me: yes. Bye!
Hahahaha....
WAhhh....Angelina Joliee!
My Best friend looks like a HOT ANG MO leh! Mai Siao Siao! hahaha....
Steph went off to meet her FYP prof, leaving me at North Spine to wait for my friend for the recruitment talk. The talk is at 6.30pm. I've been here since 6pm. It's 7 pm now and my friend is still not here yet!!!!!!
Anyway, if anyone of you out there wanna sell hall bash or whatever bash tickets, i have a suggestion. I think you can go sell them to this 2 guys. They really prefer to dance with NTU undergrad girls than any girls in clubs.
They are masters scholars living in the Graduate Hall.. Maybe can try selling the tickets at the Graduate Hall. I dont know their unit though.. Just go try your luck la... And who knows they may introduce their lonely friends who prefers to dance with NTU girls to buy the tickets as well. So people who are desperate to sell away their hall bash tickets, go try your luck at the Graduate Hall!
