No such thing as YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE

I'm waking up later and later by each day... I hope i can reverse my biological clock to the normal working hours on monday. PA starting!!! Actually after slacking for 2 weeks i dont mind working. Having something to do beats having nothing to do at home and no money to go out. So I'm quite looking forward to meeting new colleagues at work. =)

Went shopping with my og friends yesterday and i created another big hole in my pocket. But i have nice clothes to wear to work now... Wee! After shopping, i went tuition for the last time at Mrs Kwon's house. Brought Wendy along to let her talk to her. She's taking over me since i cant teach her kid anymore when my PA starts. Mrs Kwon is so nice... asked me to go visit her when i go Ikea next time. But for now, i've reverted back to my poor girl status... No more tuition means no more income. No income means no more shopping. Hai...

Went back to join my og people after tuition at orchard. Had wanted to watch MI3 but since it was full house, we decided to watch this Korean show called You Are My Sunshine which has won the best actress and best director award.

The story is about this naive and gullible farmer who fell deeply in love with a prostitute and the story went on to show how he managed to win her heart over by doing things that eventually touched her heart. They got married and lead a happy life until the prostitute's ugly past came back to haunt her. She was blackmailed by her ex bf and even got raped by him. The poor farmer had to sell off the only cow that he had to settle the debt for his wife. Things got worse when he found out that she was diagnosed with AIDS. He was very upset but did not tell his wife about her condition. When the wife found out that he had sold off his only cow for her, she felt that she will only bring him bad luck and decided to leave him to go be a prostitute again in town. Though heartbroken, the farmer did not give up searching for her. So for 1 whole year, his wife continued selling her body at Seoul with no knowledge that she had contracted AIDS. She was caught by the police during a raid and eventually found out about her condition. The story hit the media and the farmer eventually found out about her whereabouts. To prove his undying love for her, he even wanted to leave his old aged mother to live with her.......

Anyway throughout the whole story, he did many silly things to touch the girl's heart... I think the story is quite lame and typical of a tragic love story because there is no such thing as TRUE LOVE in real life! So let us just laugh at this stupid and tragic love story! Wahahahahaha.....
