Bad Luck Strikes at Work
From the series of bad luck that I encountered lately, I suspect that someone has been cursing me!
That person not only cursed me when I play mahjong, IT also cursed me when I'm at work. When I reached my workplace, me and my 4 other fellow interns settled ourselves down in the recreational room as usual. Yesterday, my 4 other colleagues were assigned to do some readings on the operations, while I was assigned to help out in another type of work. So while they were reading their notes, i was sitting down there, waiting for work to come.
As i was still waiting for my senior attached to come to the office, i picked up the dart nearby out of curiosity and started aiming at the dart board ( as shown below) . Standing at about 3 metres away, i aimed and threw the dart at the bull's eye. And guess what?
The stupid dart hit the metal rim of the dartboard and bounced off!!! It flew to the direction of my colleague and nearly hit her! WAH LAO! Can u imagine the smiling face of my colleague turned pale? Thank god the dart didnt hit her. I cannot imagine sending a colleague to the hospital so early in the morning due to some ultra bo liao and stupid stunt i performed out of boredom.
Ashamed of the childish behaviour that i demonstrated, i decided to grab a reader's digest from the rack and started reading...
As you can see, the couch in the recreation room is very cosy with cushions and everything... And before i know it, i fell asleep...
Just then, my boss's head popped out and woke me up by shock!
What to do? There's no bloody work for me to do! Plus they put me in such comfy environment.... Cant blame me that i fell asleep right? My 4 other colleagues also fell asleep last week but never get caught. Must i be so UNLUCKY???
