Something to share..
When we are honest and frank with each other, we can build strong relationships. We know where we stand. We know how to meet each other's dreams. Without that, we blunder and unintentionally hurt ourselves and others.
Of course, being honest and frank makes you vulnerable. You show your hand. That means it is easier for people to figure out how to attack and hurt you. When you step out from behind your defenses, you are exposed. This is not only true in intimate relationships, but also in groups and organizations.
But vulnerability can be good. When you are vulnerable, it is easier to connect with people, to get to know them, and to learn from them. And they will find it easier to connect with you. Vulnerabilty is a door to new relationships, new opportunities, new ways to grow, and new ways to live and work together. In a world of conflict, it is tempting to build up one's defenses and go around in a suit of armour.
But there is a problem with that. A suit of armour protects you by CONTAINING you. You can only grow so much, and then you have to get out of your armour if you want to grow any further. Once you are out of your armour, you will be vulnerable, but with that vulnerability comes the freedom to grow. As you enjoy personal and professional growth, you will discover that you don't need armour anymore. Your strength will come from inside.
So do your best to be honest and frank. It will make you vulnerable, but the vulnerability will make it easier to connect with others, and to grow both personally and profesionally. Get out of your armour and enjoy the meaning and satisfaction that come from being honest and frank.

Shit shit shit.. i'm supposed to finish my readings by tonight so that i can discuss the qns with my tax group tmr.. yet i've been procrastinating the whole day... just call me the procrastinating queen! Dont feel like doing any work siah... cos i'm so excited!
I'm gonna watch my virgin R21 show in a cinema tmr with my virgin date with someone... hehehe... shant reveal who he is. And no, we are not gonna watch those sleazy shows at Yangtze. We're gonna watch an award winning movie 'Brokeback Mountain'. It's actually about 2 gays... i've watched the trailer and realized that it's supposed to have touching scenes... and touchy scenes too of course... lol.. i shall comment on it more after i watched it tmr. It's great to be 21! woohoo!

On 10th March 2006, yours truly turned 21!
Being the very busy me, I haven got the time to upload the pics until today.. Here are the pictures taken on my happiest day!
We arrived early at aloha loyang to check in to the chalet.. shortly the food arrives.. my aunt's expression is so cute..
meanwhile, my cousin helped us out by pumping up all the balloons..
At 7pm... nobody arrived yet... everyone is fashionably late...

but look! my cake turns out nicer and prettier! okay u may disagree... but i still think that my cake is nicer!
